Please join us for a slow cruising Tomahawk Lake Boat Parade! This will be a social distancing FUNDRAISING event to benefit the Tomahawk Lake Association, replacing our annual Sip & Bid silent auction and Hermit Island Swim & Paddle Challenge. This is our only planned event this year! Your support will raise money to promote and enhance the health of our lake by controlling the spread of aquatic invasive species and preserving our shorelands.
Grab your snacks, drinks, friends, and family for a 2-hour cruise around parts of Tomahawk Lake. You will be given a map to follow, marked with points of interest for those of you who are fairly new to the lake. The map will also provide approximate times of arrival at different spots on our journey for those of you who want to be spectators only. We encourage you all to decorate your boat or property in a red, white, and blue theme. Spectators on the shore are also encouraged to decorate your decks, patios, or docks to double the fun. While enjoying the boat procession please keep your eye out for a neon yellow color piece of paper attached to either the front of the boat or someone’s dock, this will indicate who your board members are.
Tomahawk Lake Association Fundraising
Thank you for your past support and we hope you will feel it in your heart to help us out even further by purchasing a one-of-a-kind Tomahawk Lake flag for your boat or property to support TLA. Donations will be used to offset our budget deficit due to lower-than-usual grant monies from the state and loss of other fundraisers due to COVID19. This donation will get you a Tomahawk Lake flag for you to fly from your boat or place onshore with pride. Due date for registration is no later than Wednesday, July 15, 2020. This registration fee is also a tax-deductible contribution that funds our activities to keep our lake clean.

Parade people: meet in front of Kemps Bay boathouse by 2:40pm to receive your flag and line up
On-shore people: flag pickup at Margo Oppenheim’s house, July 17 from 4-6pm
