To the Members and Friends of Tomahawk Lake Association, Inc.
As the first person named Executive Director of the Tomahawk Lake Association, Inc. (TLA), I am honored and appreciative of the confidence placed upon me by our organization. I am committed to vigorously work toward the attainment of the Association’s goals and mission.
Many of you participated in the 2007 organizational meeting for the creation of a Comprehensive Lake Management Plan (CLMP) for Tomahawk Lake. Over the past year and a half, we’ve developed our five year plan for the preservation and enhancement of Tomahawk Lake. With this plan, our
organization has a roadmap forward for our current and future efforts toward protecting the beauty and environmental health of our watershed.
All of us have a stake in protecting this resource. Therefore, as I start in this new role, I’m going to need your ongoing help. I ask that each of you ask yourself one question: “How can I personally ensure that future generations will have the same quality of life experience on this lake, that I have been blessed with?”
For some, the answer is to make a financial contribution. For others, the answer is to work as a TLA volunteer. However you personally choose to participate, the first step is to come together with likeminded friends and neighbors and join the TLA. Enclosed you’ll find a form with information on how to join our organization.
I look forward to working with each and every one of you. Please feel free to contact me with questions, ideas or feedback. You can contact me at P.O. Box 535, Minocqua WI 54548, by email at edgreedy@gmail.com or at this summer’s picnic on July 18. You’ll find information on the picnic in
this letter.
Tomahawk Lake has been accurately called “the Jewel of the North” – let us all pledge together to ensure that she continues to sparkle brightly!
See you at the July 18 picnic,
Ned Greedy
Executive Director
Tomahawk Lake Association, Inc.

Is this the same Ned Greedy who graduated from Washington HS in Cedar Rapids Iowa and used to have a horse stabled at Witwer’s Barn named Peter? If so, Hi and hope all is well. I’m out here in God’s Country-Newport Beach, CA for the past 26 years. Keep those lakes clean – we bungled clean water big time out here so thank heavens for the midwest. Take care, Cindy Hiland
